December 4th: Last Day
Please note that December 4th is the last day of regular classes.
December 7h – 16th : Grading
Grading will take place from December 7th to December 16th. Please see “December 2010 Grading Schedule” (to be posted) for more details.
December 18th: Juniors and Seniors’ Year End Party
Please join us from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm in the gym for our annual year-end party. Families welcome. The fee is $2 per family and must be handed in prior to the party.
Please note regular classes will resume on January 4th 2011
December 2010 Kid's Grading

Note:
1. You must arrive on time to grading. If you can not make it to your grading time, please speak to an instructor.
2. You must have a club patch. See Sensei Devlin to buy one ($10 each)
3. You must have a clean karate gi (not including beginners)
4. The correct grading fees:
| Kyu level attempting | Youth/Kids |
| 9th Kyu (first white belt grading) | $5.00 |
| 8th & 7th | $10.00 |
| 6th to 1st | $15.00 |
5. Anything else as required by your instructor (stars/signature in your book) or as per your grading book (essay).
If any of the above items are missing you will not be able to grade.
YLC students not grading are expected to be present to help instructors during grading.

October 26th : JR class Canceled
Please note that due to a special event hosted the NFL Buffalo Bill Players the JR class will be canceled on October 26th. SR classes will run as usual.
October 2th: Gatorade JR Training Camp/Ribbon Cutting
The YMCA will be hosting some of the NFL Buffalo Bills players who will be running a Gatorade Jr. Training Camp for some of our young members (8-12yrs). There will also be a ‘Ribbon Cutting’ of the New Youth Centre! Events begin around 4 pm. Students interested in participating should speak to an instructor.

September 14th, 16th and 18th : Re-registration
Please note re-registration will take place September 14h, 16th, 18th during normal class hours in the gymnasium. All returning students need to register during these days.
September 21st, 23rd, 25th: Classes begin
Classes begin for students this week. Please ensure you have re-registered. If you have not, your child will not be allowed to participate.
September 25th: Re-registration
This is your last opportunity to re-register your child in the karate program. If your child is not registered by this date, they will be removed from the karate class list and will not be allowed to participate. Re-registration teaks place during class hours in the gymnasium.

March 9th, 11th & 13th: Grading for Beginners
Grading will take place for Junior and Senior students between 6:00 pm and 7:45 pm. Please see the March 2010 Kids Grading Schedule for details.
March 16th – 20th : Class Cancelation
Classes are cancelled due to March Break.

Grading Schedule
Grading for Junior Beginners (9th, 11th & 13th) – Grading for Junior students (6 yrs – 9 yrs) who are currently 10th Kyu (beginners), 9th Kyu (white belt 1 red stripe) or 8th Kyu (white belt 1 black stripe). Grading will occur on all three days for students. If you cannot attend on the day you normally come to class please speak to an instructor. Normal classes will occur for everyone else.
Grading for Senior Beginners (9th, 11th & 13th) – Grading for Senior students (10 yrs – 15 yrs) who are currently 10th Kyu (beginners), 9th Kyu (white belt 1 red stripe) or 8th Kyu (white belt 1 black stripe). Grading will occur on all three days for students. If you cannot attend on the day you normally come to class please speak to an instructor. Normal classes will occur for everyone else.
