The Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Academy is open to all practitioners of Wado-Ryu Karate who wish to follow the true teachings of the founder of Wado-Ryu Karate-Do, Grandmaster Hironori Ohtsuka I. The Wado Academy is headed by his grand-son, Grandmaster Hironori Ohtsuka III and the chief instructor is M. Shiomitsu 9th Dan Hanshi. Since it\u2019s conception in 1989 the Wado Academy has grown into a huge organization with affiliated clubs worldwide.<\/p>\n

Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Renmei (also known as International Federation of Wado-Ryu Karate-Do Organizations) is the home to the one and only authentic martial art of Wado-Ryu Karate-Do and Wado-Ryu Jujutsu Kenpo. Wado-Ryu is practiced globally as one of the four main styles of traditional Karate-Do. The unique aspect of Wado-Ryu is that it was formed and developed on mainland Japan, unlike its Okinawan counterparts. Wado-Ryu utilizes elements from Jujutsu and Kenjutsu (Japanese swordsmanship) and it is true Japanese Budo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
